Friendsville, Tennessee

Your list, about 20 minutes away.

Friendsville is about 20 minutes, or 12.9 miles, from our Maryville base, by US 411, Lamar Alexander Parkway (US 321) and SR 333. The List Home Services makes that drive, and Mitchell leads the crew and does the work on site.

A Friendsville list might be about the land around the house: a fence line or gate, drainage pipe, a deck or porch, a gutter, old materials to haul away. Inside jobs, like doors, flooring, fixtures and ceiling fans, are welcome too.

Local notes

Knowing Friendsville, Quaker-founded

Quakers from New Garden, North Carolina founded Friendsville in the 1790s, and a Friends Meetinghouse still stands. The town was also a stop on the Underground Railroad. The 2020 census counted 896 residents in this small town in Blount County.

Friendsville lies along SR 333, also called Miser Station Road, from the edge of Fort Loudoun Lake up to US 321. Pellissippi State Community College’s Blount County campus is here, and so is Friendsville Elementary, which was once Friendsville High School.

Boat launches at Gallahar Creek and Whispering Cove give the town lake access, and the 2020 census counted Friendsville as 100% rural. Out here, fences, gates and drainage can matter as much as the house itself, so we ask about the property.

What homes here need

Rural land, practical fixes

On rural land, fencing is a natural place to start: chain-link and wood privacy fence installation and repair, plus new or repaired gates that swing and latch right. Decks, porches and pergolas, including stairs, railings and staining, round out the outdoor list.

Water and wear matter too. Gutter work, small concrete pads, catch basins and drainage pipe help move rain away from a house, and removal and haul-away clears old appliances and debris. Mitchell talks through each piece and prices it before work starts.

New chain-link fence line with young evergreens planted along it
New wood landing and steps built at a front door
Finished playhouse with windows and a shingled roof in the woods
White rail fence and stair railing up a sloped yard
